The Extrordinary Defeat!

So last weekend when my favorite basketball team, the Indiana Pacers were in town, a couple of friends and I experienced an extrordinary defeat. So anyway, to keep this short, the Bucks defeated the Pacers at the buzzer with an amazing three point field goal from wayyyyyy out. I cried as most people cheered emensly. My buddy Tracy, also a huge Pacer fan stood in awe next to me and couldnt believe what had just happened after Indiana controlled most of the game. WOW, good for the home team, but bad for the two of us, anyway, these are just a few snapshots from the night.

And yet life takes another turn...

So a long time ago.... I once heard a quote that has always stuck with me and tonight Im reminded by it, but with negative reflections. "Slow down, slow down, slow down .......beacuse the trip is way too quick."..A wise man...
Im reminded by this due to a recent death that has affected me in a way in which was quite unexpected. If I had only not gone to the bar and found out I may have neven known, but Im glad that it came rather than never. Ive always said that to die young would be to die before life turns on us all, but being selffish to the ones around you may never leave your concious for they are affected the most. Someone who gave me a chance and remained as someone dear will live on, but only in memory. Thank you for the wonderful memories that live on...................................................................L.B.
